COLEGIO LUIGI PIRANDELLO “TEACHER´S DAY”

61 years ago was proclaimed St. John Baptist de La Salle as the patron of teachers by Pope Pius XII. That same year, the President of the Republic declared May 15 as the Day of the Teacher. A very important date for all the great social contribution made by all teachers in our country. The effort of educators guarantees which enable them to exercise their profession in a suitable environment, pleasant to educate the minds of children and young people who will take the ways of the country in the future has been steady and brave.

On May 17 was held, this activity took place in each classroom and each course made a little celebration to your course director, this date is celebrated as a appreciation for teachers who educate us , but not only for teaching one subject, they teach people how to take assertive decisions for our life

We can remember those who during life can transform the way we see our world and our reality. For example, why not remember the first teacher who taught us to read and write in the booklets Nacho Coquito or Math teacher, Spanish teacher, the teacher of religion and the unforgettable physical education teacher; coexistence coordinator, the principal or professor of philosophy, biology, calculus, drawing, arts, music, trigonometry, etc. that marked once and forever our way in life.

Educate is synonymous of identity and over there is the essence of it. It is for this reason that many countries that remain in the past, have many lower educational levels in relation to developed countries.
